I have a sick betta with a SBD and some peeling scales on top of his head. Some said said it was Dropsy but it's not extremely pineconing. I don't have a quarintine tank but i just wanted to double check if i dilute melafix will it still be effective. I know melafix is harmful to a bettas labyrinth organ but stores sell Bettafix which is just 1/5 dilution of melafix. Is pimafix better at solving this problem? I've added 1 1/3 TBSP to my 10 gal tank. to help stimulate recovery. The SBD i'm treting with fastening and a cooked un-shelled pea. Thanks in advance!
