I've seen this things before, [years ago] but nothing recently, until today. Approx 0.5 - 1.0 cm in length, crawling on the glass, white colored 'worms'. I'm guessing these are either planaria or nematodes. They don't move by arching their back, more like an earthworm moves. I don't see any of them on the other inhabitants of the tank, which include: yellow-bellied slider, 2 kribs, cobalt-blue lobster, gold mystery snail, 2 tiny guppies, and MTS. Yeh, I know, random assortment.

I have a feeling it's due to overfeeding, as I'm trying to get some MTS for my friends' tanks. Any input will be appreciated.

It sounds like it could be planaria. Reduce feedings and do some water changes. It will clear up if it is indeed planaria.

I'm guessing planaria too. I'm pretty sure I have had nemetodes in my tanks off and on, in certain areas of the glass. They were much smaller than .5 -1 cm.
