Please help

My gourami I've had for a while now is laying on the bottom, and it's scales look very weird. My tank is no different that normal and it's always done fine. Click image for larger version

I see nothing external, could be worms, flukes or Hexitima. Try metronidazole if you so wish. (or just buy another gourami, because metro isnt cheap)

I thought it was dropsy because of the way it's scales are like a pine cone. It's bloated also.

I have the same fish. Can't see anything external so try a treatment of Malachite Green & Metro.

As well as getting 0 for ammonia and nitrite, plus a low number for nitrate - did you also check ph is ok?
