Please help! I have a very sick Gold fish

If he survives I think the tank is too small and he should be added to a pond. I assume I'm reading that right and he is 1ft in a 4ft tank.

In the mean time, I'd also be doing 40-50% pwc's each week and testing my water specs. As it's summer here I'm just putting buckets of tank water on the plants and dragging the garden hose inside (very, very quietly). Also check the tap water water specs to have a base line.

Filtration I would run 2 canister filters but that is just me.
 
Hey I did have frozen water bottles in the freezer already so I put them in the tank. The temp came down.
Sadly Tigo did not make it overnight. I've been totally heart broken. Finally buried him out in the garden.

So so sorry to hear that. :( When the garden blooms, you can think of how he helped give the flowers their beauty. :)
