Hi there everyone,

For the last month or so we have been sporadically losing fish. We have lost lots of guppies, a danio and 3 balloon mollies.

The guppy girls seem to have been getting bloated before dying, however this isnt something that we have noticed with the other fish. The danio seemed to have "loose" gills though - they were weirdly flappy.

We've been adding interpret anti internal bacteria medicine - we're just on the second cycle.

The ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph are all within healthy parameters. The temperature is currently 25 degrees centingrade.

The tank is 60 litres, and has been set up for around 6 months. We have a Stingray filtration system, a heater and an air stone.

We currently have 1 balloon molly, 1 sucking loach, 3 danios, 4 platys and 8 guppies. We have reluctantly added some more guppy girls today as the boys were harrassing the remaining female.

We last did a water change yesterday - we do 1/3 at a time. We do vacuum the gravel.

The fish that are dying tend to be the ones that have been in the tank the longest.

I have 2 guppies at the moment that look swollen but may just be pregnant, but also 1 female who almost definately has dropsy - her scales have pineconed, she rests on the gravel and when swimming she points up diagonally.

We haven't changed their diet recently, we've tried to cut back on their food but we're still losing them.

Any help would be appreaciated!

We lost the guppy girl today. When we got her out we noticed that her belly was very white - again a sign of dropsy??

Checked all the parameters again, all within healthy limits.

Still worried about the other 2 ladies who are bloated.

Any suggestions at all? We would be so grateful!!
