I picked up a handful of sunburst and red platys yesterday and put them in my planted 10 gallon...I inspected them before I put them in the tank and as soon as I put them in I noticed one of the red guys had a big white spot on its side.
I'm not sure if it's ick, it looks like it was attacked by one of the other ones maybe, almost like a bite...and the dorsal fin is a little shredded so idk what it could be.
She is a female so I'm thinking maybe one of the males got a little aggressive in the bag trying to mate and bit her? Idk...wishful thinking maybe.
Anyway, if it is ick what's the best cure for it? I do have live plants so I know I can't use anything with copper...these are the other fish I have in the tank as well:
Leopard corys
Betta
Bushy nose pleco
