Question about fin rot

So my fish had fin rot and I treated it. It looks like it has stopped, but where his fins were "rotted" away and are frayed of torn, will they grow back?
Moving my goldfish to his new thirty gallon home has helped him as far as I can tell. Haven't tested the water since I moved him over.

Most fish will regrow fins, it is usually white at first & then colors up. Of course there is always the possibility of permanent damage but usually not.

Ok, his fins are white/clear but it looks like it has stopped for now! Hopefully it doesn't return
