Quick! Help me id this cyst.

This couple of cockatoo cichlids were bought yesterday, the shop has a 48 hour guarantee. My question is what is it and is it treatable?

It is an elevated blister/cyst. There appears to be some minor skin irritation in the form of slight pinkness. It is approximately 1-2 mm in diameter and maybe 1 mm raised. It is only on the female. It is present just to the side of the anal passage. Or on the side directly between pectoral and anal fins.

Any recommendations? should I separate the pair and just return the female or take them both back or just treat them.

did you qt them? If it were me, I would take them back.
