My rainbow shark recently has been moved to this 30 gallon tank until I get a larger one by the end of the year moved him/her about 4 days ago and its nose tip started turning white and it's got 2 white lumps one of each side just above its whiskers it had this about 2 or 3 months ago but it went away just wanted to check if it's anything serious.

In this tank
1 small bristlenose pleco
1 lonely black neon tetra
6 guppy most small
1 dwarf gourami
1 lonely corydora that a friend didn't want
And a lot of snails started with 4 snails now tons of little ones but just got 2 assassins snails to try and control the population dont think it will work.

He gets along pretty well besides a little chasing every now and then.

Everything else is as it should be

Are you sure that’s a rainbow shark..? That kind looks like a hybrid rainbow shark x ————— idk
But he kinda has a snout like a giraffe catfish! Look at mine.60805977186__DD9181D5-8563-4B9B-B413-318A52CDE10D.jpg

If you look at your fish’s scales they look way bigger than mine and my shark has a kinda trapdoor mouth yours has like a bag mouth. My sharks mouth folds up when it closes like a draw bridge. Yours is like a bag that opens and closes in the same position

I dont know he was sold to me as a rainbow shark at pets at home

From the pictures of other rainbow sharks I've seen online I do think mine is a rainbow shark even when he was younger it looked like a young skinny rainbow shark.
