Recurring Dropsy?

Asking for help with Cherry my redcap. I’m really struggling and out of ideas. Since Dec he’s had on/off bloating and a few raised scales so I treated as dropsy. Otherwise totally fine- eating pooping fins fine bright/lively. I’ve done Epsom baths, furan + kanaplex (5 days) plus K in food and each time swelling went... back in main tank and over maybe 2 weeks returned. So I’d repeat the above. I’ve done this maybe 4 times. Then I tried Maracyn, same results. The swelling just comes back. I feed repashy/ hikari/ gel daphnia/ bug bites. Yesterday really big and slightly lethargic so I’m trying maracyn plus maracyn 2. Plus Epsom in hosp tank.I don’t know what else.. hard as I’m in uk too. This morning he looks less swollen and brighter but I’m sure the cycle will continue. I’m thinking a bacterial infection so maybe treat with antibiotics for longer ??*??*
