red blue columbian tetra with no anal fins!

like my title... i hav a red & blue columbian tetra with no anal fins!
what should i do to help him and what do u think caused this?

Hi and welcome to AA!!!! You are referring to your fish's anal fins (near vent) & not the caudal (tail) fin, correct? Who are his tankmates? How are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)? He should heal on his own with healthy water but it sounds like you may have some nippy fish in your tank!

nitrite- 0

Your numbers look good- healthy water will help him heal as long as he is not being continually nipped or bullied by other fish.

I would suggest adding some Aquarium salt into the tank. It helps the fish heal especially for fin bites. Also when you add the salt you will want to take some water out of the tank and add the salt in a bowl and stir it so that you can not see the rock salt. You do not want to burn your sick fish or others in the tank.
