Hi all,

I have had my new tank cycling for 2 months before putting fish in it. I tested it with the API test kit and all levels are within range.

I brought home 6 celestial pearl danios and 12 red flame tetras today. The Danios (gorgeous fish!) are fine and 10 of the red flames are too, however, one is behaving oddly. If he stops swimming he sinks like a stone.

Has this fish been injured in transport or is it ill?

Thanks in advance.

Well you probably already have the answer by now? Did your fish make it?

If the behavior is still ongoing it could be a swim bladder issue.

Yes he's still going strong but still swimming the same way!

Have you tested the water since? Are any other fish acting poorly? My guess is that's it's a swim bladder problem, but it's always good to test when you post something.
Yes, levels are
pH 7.2
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
