Son of a gun! First I lost my Farlowella last month. Today my Loach. Last night I did my large water change, and algea scrub. Loach was fine...this morning he had this huge red lump. (working on getting a photo). This evening he is dead. All my level are good. With the exception of the Nitrates. they were 20ppm before the change. And the honest truth is I have lost control of my nitrate level. I can not seem to control them.

By the way...55 Gallon tank. Standard. Again all levels are good.

Once I get a photo up could you help me identify this so I know if I need to start saving my other fish or if they are ok as is?

Thank you.

Here is the photo of my sad Fathers Day. My son was very sad as well. I really want to know what this is. Are my other fish safe?
