Safe to delay water change after general cure?

Have a cichlid in a quarantine tank that is not eating and rather poor looking after some stress with another fish. Had hoped the time alone would get him feeling better.

I wanted to start a treatment of general cure incase stress just caused something to flare up. Problem is I will be out of town a few days. Would it be better to not treat at all or treat gc but miss the water change at the end for a few days?

I can get my fish sitter to dose the second gc but I think the water change would be difficult for her.
