This pleco has always had patches of pale skin - it almost looks like he is going to shed skin - nothing peeling or raised but it looks white where it should be black and brown..
Lately it is starting to spread. His fins and most of his body have these pale white patches on them.
Anyone have any idea what is going on with this fish.
My water seems fine.
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
5ppm Nitrate
6.3 pH (which is lower than I would like but according to planet catfish it is within a sailfins range) The pH is more or less constant.
