Salt dip for dying guppy

Hello, I would so appreciate anyoneís response bc my beloved guppy Lil Momma looks really weak and skinny.
I am trying to give her a salt dip before I quarantine her, and the amounts of aquarium salt online are so variable... one forum says 5-10 tablespoons per gallon for 30 minutes and another says no more than 1 tbsp and no longer than 5-8 minutes. Can someone please break the tie?
