Seachem Prime

I emptied my tank and am in the process of filling it back up. Os Prime supposed to have a stinky odor?

It is sodium thiosulfate or at least contains it . It is a sulphur based product.

They didn't have Seachem Prime way back when I had multi aquariums and when I set this one up I didn't smell anything when adding drops. I always used Tetra Safe Start. For some reason I decided to take the lid off and smell it and WOW I though omg maybe it's rotten and thats why my tank wouldn't cycle. LOL Day-um!

Mmmm smells so good that think I'll change my screen name to i_sniff _prime , I have read many articles about people refusing to use it because of the smell which is baffling to me because it's like literally a must have lol.

For the ladies out here, you need to understand it's like a guy thing...belching, beer drinking, flatulence, scratching their hairy bellies...ritual. LOL

I wonder if it gets "bad" and thats what causes that smell. It dosent stink until towards the end of the bottle.
probably too much air mixing with it.
