In my tank I used to have 5 dwarf honey gouramis. For some reason, one by one they went very pale, almost white, they inflated a bit and then began to struggle swimming, they would get stuck in rocks or just stuck on the bottom. I have only noticed the scales in a pinecone-like fashion once and therefore don't think it is dropsy? I now only have one gourami left and that one seems to be doing the same. Does anyone know what this is?

Unfortunely Dwarf gourami iridovirus is to blame for the majority of Colisa lalia deaths, there really isn't any cure and any fish with symptoms should be removed and euthanized since its extrmely contagious.
