Sick Plecto

One of our plectos dies ;(, the other one has a strange film over the eyes. They are (were) about 10 years old and were doing fine, our goldfish of about ten years died then we bought a fish with the ich. Can plectos get the ich?
We changed the water after the new goldfish died (I think the ich treatment killed them, I didn't know about rock salt before).
We got black rocks, rinsed them very well.
We haven't tested the water...pet store not open yet.
What's that silly film on his eyes?

Lets find out what the water test says first.
Yes Plecos can get Ich but you have to be carefull when traeting them as they are sensitive to most Ich medications.
Ich-Attack by Kordon is safe for Plecos.
