Two night ago I found him floating on his side at the top of the tank. So I just assumed it was swim bladder because I havent been over feeding. But I noticed under his face looks swollen. Anyone know why that could be??

Wow he is a beautiful fish! But the swollen under his face is actually his stomach and he might actually have something stuck in there? If you could get him to eat a boiled squashed pea then that should detox him. But i'm not to sure?

You really need a betta fish expert sorry
Because i'm not to sure on how to treat betta fish :/

Best of luck!

Thanks for reply . The swelling went down a bit . I havent fed him in 3 days so I gave him some blood worms. Hopefully it doesn't swell up again. I will try the pea. Thank you

That does look like a swollen stomach. I would suggest feeding him some frozen daphnia. It's available at most LFS. In my experience, frozen daphnia is great for a laxative when I have a bloated betta. I wish you and your beautiful betta boy well. :)

I will try that. Thank you ?
