Strange Cory Death

My favorite Cory died yesterday in a wierd manner, just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this.

In a matter of 48 hours or so, he lost all of his color and basically turned white. He looked like an albino in comparison with his 3 other Cory tankmates. After he stopping being able to keep himself bouyant, I put him down.

The water parameters are exactly where they should be, anyone see anything like this before?

I have not seen anything like that before, usually color loss is due to stress/illness. How old was he? I would keep a close eye on the other corys and do some extra water changes just as precaution.

The other Corys seem to be okay, all four of them had been in my tank now for 4 months+

I have the same problem with my two Panda's . The one has lost alot of color, instead of haveing a soft color it's almost like a scaly white and I noticed this morning that the other is now starting to change color. Both seem perfectly fine, swimming, eating etc..?
