Strange Guppy Behavior. What can I do?

Yesterday I noticed my two male guppies were being seclusive (like hiding for most of the day and being unusually inactive). They swim just fine and are still eating but they don't seem as excited when they are fed. I took out my other guppy to treat him for fin rot and internal parasite and I don't want to put him back in until his fin shows some growth. Are my other guppies depressed?

Also, one of the two in the tank had a long strand of white excrement (about 2 inches) and it made me a little worried. Should I treat him for internal parasite too?

Sounds like an internal parisite.

Fish don't get depressed
I'd say there's something not right here, I agree with possible internal parasite.
