Strange spots on my CAE

I havn't been able to capture a picture of their developing spots yet, but..


all my CAE have developed these black, leopard like spots on their head, and down their back to their dorsal fins.

its very strange that both, whom are in totally different tanks, have developed these same spots.

I'm thinking they have to do with maturation, or readiness to breed.

Anyone have experiance with breeding CAEs?

I't be quite interesting if I could get some baby CAEs.

I notice that when my CAE is sleeping his stripes fade and he's covered in spots.
