One of my tanks has ich. Neither of my others have sign of it. I normally use the same bucket and hose to do gravel fav. I'm afraid to contaminate all my tanks if I do. If I rinse with vinegar the bucket and hose, will that prevent transfering it?

I would just clean the tank with ich last, rinse the equipment in hot water, and then let it dry out.

Does that kill it? I was wondering about doing a vinegar rinse but wasn't sure.

Drying out will definitely kill it as it can't survive out of water.

If I have used equipment on a tank with any disease, I bleach it. If I use a net to scoop a dead fish, I bleach it. Hoses, pails, vacuum attachments all get soaked in bleach and water.

I have to agree with BillD- bleach is the only way to be 100% sure your equipment is disinfected before using it on another tank. Use a 10% solution of bleach to hot water (1 part bleach to 9 parts water), soak for atleast 15mins & rinse thoroughly.
