swim bladder issues

one of my cories was upside down with his head in the gravel, so I thought he was stuck. I dug him out and he swam in a circle upside down and then lay down on his side at the bottom. He can barely swim and only upside down. he is quarantined so I can watch him. Can I help him at all or will he just die?
