Is there any tricks i can use to help a ryukin with a swimmbladder problem? He's a mature specimen (approx 4'') and is constantly on his back or vertical, so its almost certain to be a physiological problem. How could i make his life a little easier?(it does'nt seem to affect him too much)

These fiosh have been genetically messed with so much through breeding, that there is probabl;y no way to overcome it. It is quite common for this to occur in fancy goldfish. If you truely believe it is a swimbladder infection, then treat with antibiotics, but I think it is just the breeding catching up to it.

I heard about someone who attached a cork to a fish with a swimbladder problem. Not that I'm suggesting you do that..............
