swollen eye

i noticed yesterday night that my bala shark's left eye is swollen and has blood on the bottom of it. and its only his one eye. what could have caused this and what precautions should i take for this?

Is there anything in the tank he may have bumped up against and injured? The best treatment is pristine water conditions.

I agree. It's either from damage or stress. Assuming all water conditions are good, I would simply try changing the water more often and seeing it that helps.

alright ill do another waterchange today and then see how it helps him.
