Was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts, experiences, ideas, suggestions, about treating a tank for fungus while cycling? i know about removing the carbon, adding some aeration, adjusting temp. was really wondering about pwc's during the treatment... any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

PWCs are your best bet at this point IMO.

actually thats what i'm going with h1. talked to someone that has considerable experience and thats what he suggested. he said with most of the parasites, funguses, ich, etc. there isn't too much of a question of "is that a spot, streamer, worm on the side of that angelfish?", meaning a clearly visible cyst, parasite , fungi, is present. he also stressed that that was a very general guideline, and not always the case. based on my past water parameters, stocking issues, and cycling it could be a number of things. i'm just watching my parameters closely and doing a daily pwc, hoping to ride it out.
