Hello! So I just returned from the pet store with 5 new neon Tetras to add to my 20gal tank. I have them in the bag still in the aquarium, and upon closer inspection I see that one has a nipped tail- probably from being house in the same tank as Rams at the pet store :(

Will this fin heal alright? My tank is well established and my water params are on point. I'm just concerned because I know how sensitive this type of fish can be.

Thanks for the advice!

Nipped fins generally heal without an issue. Since they are new, just keep an eye on the fin for any signs of fungus or infection, but it will hopefully be fine. Clean water is the best thing for healing fins anyways. Since your tank is established and params are good, that shouldn't be an issue. Good luck. Let us know if you have more questions.
