I noticed this bump on my girl's nose a few days ago I've been watching it and it hasn't changed at all, and she hasn't acted like it bothers her. She solid white so it's kind of hard to tell if the bump is white or if it's just the same color as her scales.
She's in a community tank 55 gallon with: 5 Danios, 3 emperor tetras, one blackskirt tetra, 1 Cory cat, 3 Japanese trap door snails, and another female betta. I'm quarantining 5 more female battles, 5 more blackskirt tetras, and 2 more Corey cats. Those guys should be ready to put in the big tank soon, but I wanna make sure that I have whatever this is under control 1st.
I haven't added any new fish in about 2 months. None of the other fish are showing any symptoms of anything. The ammonia is at 0. The tank is cycled, I feed a mix of bug bite betta bites and tropical fish pellet, with bottom feeder pellets every few days.
I'm thinking that it's Lymphocystis but I don't know how to treat it, and I don't want to add new fish if she's contagious. Any suggestions help! Thanks
