What is this on my Rams forehead and how do I treat it?

Is it fuzzy like cotton? Could be a fungal infection; might also be columnaris which is highly contagious and somewhat hard to treat. I'd start using a fungal med at least.

It does kind of look cottony. I quarantined the fish and treated with aquarium salts.. Not enough?...

I set up a quarantine tank and am treating with anti fungal meds. The Ram has been in there for 2 days. I just added the second treatment of meds this morning, I do not see any improvement yet. How long does the fungus usually take to disapate?
