Almost looks like a little hitchhiker snail. Have you added any new plants in the past few weeks? I'm pretty sure that isn't what it is just a idea. I'm sure someone who has more knowledge will have the perfect answer.

Found your answer. Go to photos and scroll down to freshwater diseases. ..it's right there on the cover fish.
Hopefully this will get you started.

I'm pretty new too. You're going to have to look thru the pictures until you find the picture. .lol..or someone else knows the answer. I just happened to see it and hoped that it was a place to start...
