I have a 55 gal community tank. Emperor 400 filter, 10-15 gal pwc's weekly, planted tank, pfs as substrate, it's fully cycled since April of this year. I have 2 male hi fin variatus and 3 female. The smaller male (born in my tank) was laying on the bottom. He doesn't look ill, aside from being on the bottom. I fed them some food and he came up to eat but went right back to the bottom. Is it it possible that he is just hiding from the larger male? Should I find him a new home or could he be sick? My water params are all good. I've had no problems in the tank.
