whats wrong with my platy and guppy

so both my platy and guppy seem sick. they will lay down on the gravel (not on side but facing up) for a few seconds then start swimming again. their top fin also look unhealthy and arent sticking straight up. Besides that they seem okay. is this normal? both my platy and guppy are doing this, but all the other fish in the tank seem fine. any advice appreciated

im getting the water checked tomorrow. they already passed away but the other fish seem fine and al their fins are up now
