White bump on neon tetras upper lip

Hello, my neon tetra has a white bump right on its nostril, it seems rather solid and not fuzzy, another smaller one has a similar bump in the same place but it seems a lot more translucent, maybe even fuzzy but it's too small to tell

They are super pale because I just turned the lights on to get some pictures as it's night here, and as you can see in the pictures they regain color

I am currently dosing aquarium salt as instructed by the label (2 Tbs per 20lt)
I've just started this today so it's too soon to say if this is having any effect

That looks like a secondary infection. Its the sort of thing ive cleared up with plenty of water changes and time.
