I've just done he first treatment for white spot after I noticed some of my tetras had it this morning. I'm curious about when I should put the carbon filters back? I've spent ages checking online with no luck. I assume it will be after the second treatment but how long after?

Thanks

I think i remember hearing somewhere that you're not supposed to put the carbon filters back until the fish are 100% healed. I know it can filter out some of the good in meds.

Skip the carbon (you shouldn't put your old carbon back anyway) and get Purigen. Add it with the first water change after you've finished treatment.

You treat till 3-4 days after you see last spot.
It is not nor should it be a 1 or 2 time treatment...It could take over a week.

Purigen is good stuff.
Water changes do the same as both carbon and purigen for less $, better and, faster.
