White Spot On Angel

I have a black veil angelfish and he has a white spot on his side near his gills. It doesn't look like ich so what could it be? I can provide a picture if needed.

The pictures kind of blurry. Is it fuzzy. Raised or a hole? How long ago did it show? What the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH? Tank mates?
