Have had my tank set up for about 6 months now, and had a bad episode with water quality. I have a 60 ltr tank which now contains only two fish, a guppy and a bristle nosed catfish. my water parameters are now normal for a freshwater tank, but the remaining fish have white spot. I am treating with a treatment that recommends 7 days... I have heard that the parasites can live up to twenty... How many times should I dose, and can I do water changes in between doses? The guppy is gasping but looking ok, is this normal? I have added aquarium salt and gradually turned heat up. Anything else I can do? And when can I think about restocking?
