White/ transparent spreading on platy!? Any ideas?

My platy started out with a small white transparency on his head and now spreading back slowly.. Both his fins are clamped. He eats, swims around and then will float on a plant and almost look lifeless.. Then he swims all happy again. This has been going on for well over a month now The rest of my 37 gallon tank, 2 platys, a fry, 3 black skirts, 5 zebra danios and a sucker fish are all very happy and healthy.

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
