White Worms

I have white worms in my tank. i know what to do to get them out but i wanted to know if they are harmful to people, not fish. they give me the hebejebes...

Aside from the hebejebes, they are probably not harmful to you or the fish.

Since you are new to our site, answer these Qs so we can further help:
~What are your tank parameters (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, temp)?
~ How large is the tank?
~How many fish are in the tank? What kinds of fish are they and what are there current sizes?
~When is the last time you did a water change and vacuum the gravel? How often do you do this? How much water do you remove at a time?
~How long have you had the fish?
~Have you added anything new to the tank--decor, new dechlor, new substrate, etc.?

thanks for the links, the buggers are pretty gross. the tank is in great condition, i added a pagoda which has a lot of space under it so i think it is behaving a bit like an ug filter. the water was changed the other day about 25%.

i am a newbie to the bullitin but not the fish keeping. she is a flowerhorn, several years old in a 46 gallon tank. two claw frogs which she enjoys chasing around. her name is shnubi. her favorite activity is playing with me when i feed her. she likes to go for the pellets one at a time - like a coin toss.

pH is normal, 7.0 and the other parameters are ballanced out. the tank has been cycled for a very long time. i think i may just have to take out the pagoda.

The pagoda may be trapping excess foods and allowing the nematodes to thrive
