Why is my platty L shaped?

Any idea why my platty has gone L shaped for the last month?
No one attacks her and she's generally in amongst the rest if the fish.

Just a real bad day. I believe it's a genetic disorder from over an inter breeding that infects or affects the spine an starts to curve it. There is no way to reverse the effects an many will put there fish to sleep after this begins to happen

Ahh fair enough. I won't put her to sleep unless she starts going down hill. At this time she swims about and eats happily so can't see a good enough reason to do that.

That is not dropsy IMO.
Dropsy usually involves bloating and pineconing.
look into this;
Curved spine, sunken belly disease – esp. livebearers - Aquarium Fish Forum
I would remove the fish from tank to avoid it( the issue) being more easily transmitted to others.
