Will ich die off their is no fish in the tank. I'm thinking yes?

You have to turn the heat up in the tank and leave it empty for 31 days. You'll also kill the cycle too.

Turning up the heat will speed things up. Just start dosing ammonia to keep the tank cycled.

Yes it will. How long will depend on what temperature it's at. The length of the ich life cycle varies with the temperature. If that tanks empty you will need an ammonia source to keep the bacteria alive during that time.

I also heard that salt helps, but if you have plants or your fish can't handle salt probably should not use it.
