Thank you, going to aquarium shop this afternoon to see what I can get. He seems ok today and eating ok. Just this thread like white thing beside his eye.

I decided to go for a treatment called sterazin from waterlife. Seemingly it kills gill flukes and internal worms etc. hopefully this will help! He seems ok today just a faint outline of a c shape on his head (very small). He is eating and swimming normally apart fro pooping clear now.
