Wound on catfish

Sun/eclipse catfish is 2 years old and 9 inches. He has some kind of open wound on his side, i noticed it about 2 weeks ago. It hasnt healed yet, and his behavior has changed. He used to never leave his log with the lights on, now he'll sit out in the open. Ive been treating with melafix, is there anything else i can do?

I would be doing daily water changes and possibly some methylene blue...
I would think it should have healed by now??Was it white before or is that infection setting in?

Thanks, ill be sure to change the water more often. The white line has been there, i cant tell if its scar tissue or some kind of infection

Methylene blue is pretty safe and effective to use...
