Algae id

Hello I started to get his brownish algae on my rocks it kind of looks lick coffee grinds it's like really hard to I tried to scrap it off but it was really hard. Here's a picture of it.

I think I see what you're referring to. Hard to tell with the blues, but could be diatoms or cyano.

Sorry forgot you said it was hard to scrape off. It's coralline. I thought there was something else you were talking about. You are referring to the smoothish purple stuff right? That's coralline, it's good.

No the brown specks growing all over the Coraline if you can enlarge it you can see it better
