Anenome type critter on live rock


I have no idea what this is just appeared today after a month. I know thats aiptasia behind it. got the snail in for scale.

no idea guys? it comes out at night, is about an inch long when fully extended has short stubby tentacles and retreats completely back into the rock during the day. I can't find anything on it.

its not totally different critter. short stubby tentacles not long and sweeping like the aiptasia behind it. not the same animal for sure.

Did some research on it that sounds about right. The only problem with that is I have Fiji live rock and hidden cup corals seem to be a denizen of the Caribean and Florida. I think thats right though. I'll work under that assumption.
