any idea what this coral is please

hello all . im after a bit of info. today someone give my son some coral as thay was closeing there tank to move. but im not sure what thay are. my son was told one is a ***** coral . but the other i dont know sorry i cant post a pic as i have no camra. but it looks like a finger coral and redish pink in couler with bumps on it . could it be a finger in that colour. is there a web site that will give me some info on ***** coral. meny thanks

LOL... looks like the new-fangled bad word detector went a little berserk on your post! Without a picture, and without knowing what all the *****'s were, I'm afraid we can't help much.

Maybe go to Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums and look through their corals there to see if you can find it?

Is it soft or hard? If it is soft and waves in the current, look for leathers. Sinularia's and capnella come to mind. If it is rigid, look at sps corals. They are broken down by category at fantasyreef.com in the coral database.
