Are these mantis shrimp

I found these in my filter tonight but when I shine a torch on the tank they are all over the live sand, and when the lights are off I can hear a loud clicking sound. Are these possibly mantis shrimp

No, those are pods. Good guys to have in your tank.

This is a mantis shrimp.

Do you have snails in the tank? Sometimes my snails fall of the glass and you can hear them knocking around as they fall

Or if they're big enough they can knock rocks down. Both are very plausible.

Hmmm only small snails (baby snails came as hitch hikers on LR) I have hermit crabs tho and some other sort of crab in the picture attached not the best but the best I could get without scaring them away they only come out at night, again they are hitch bickers as I haven't bought any crabs
