Brain coral ID

For yrs I`ve had this brain coral but when I try to ID I really cant find a pic like it to match. LA has several pics but they look like ones with skelatons but this one looks like it just sets on top of a rock. It never regresses to a skelaton. Any ideas what type?

Good question, Mike. Doesn't look distinctly like any of the three major groups but if I had to venture a guess I'd say it was a Lobophyllia sp. It could also be a Symphyllia sp.... Nice pictures.

It's gotta be a Pink spotted goby coral, since he hangs out there all the time...lol...
