Bright lime green thing?

Hi all, just wondering if someone could identify this little bright lime green thing on my rock. I have a couple of them and just cabt figure out what they are. Thanx

It might be some macroalgae sprouts. Does it move like its alive?

Nope just stays there, it's almost standing up right but a little bent over... It's crazy. Im gonna try and get better pics tho. Idk how the clarity is, since I took the picture from my phone

And was thinking maybe that was it. But ur pic looks similar to what it looks like now. Only thing is now it has a little segmented area at the top . I will post pic in a sec.

On the tip of it it looks like it's gonna start segmenting. Mr X if it's that what u listed , is it bad for the tank?? The article to that link didn't say if it was bad or not. Cuz I like the color it brings to the tank.

some say they can take over, but i've always seen a couple pop up and then disappear shortly after. i would say they are nothing to worry about.
